NASHVILLE, PART II.

thursday night, we celebrated my beautiful cousin's birthday. i was so happy that i could be with her but was saddened by what brought me home to begin with. we had originally planned a girls vacation in july but there was nothing that could stop me from being with those girls last week. cole's visitation was thursday afternoon. there was an overwhelming number of people there to show their love and support. my whole family went together and for that, i was thankful. i dont believe any of us were truly ready for that moment.  seeing him. as we all sat in the next room, hand in hand, arms wrapped around each other, the reality of it all began to sink in. we all just looked at each other with unspoken words, knowing the love of our family was radiating through us. and i am beyond proud of sidney. she has been so strong. she didn't make it to dinner with us that night and that was fine. but we all missed her dearly. here are a few pictures we grabbed last minute.

happy birthday, samantha!

  1. I'm so deeply sorry for the loss of Cole, but it's bittersweet how events like these really do bring friends and family closer together.
On a lighter note, happy birthday to your cousin! And I am absolutely adoring your turquoise jeans... A LOT. ;)
