LOVELESS, PART l.

if you are ever in nashville, it's a must to visit the legendary loveless cafe. the loveless motel and cafe opened in 1951 with nothing more than a few picnic tables in the front yard. travelers all across the southeast would stop in for their famous fried chicken, biscuits, and out of this world preserves. lately, the loveless makes between 4,000 - 7,000 biscuits A DAY! they are that good, people.

on monday, carter and i stopped in for brunch. i say brunch because by the time we made it down, it was almost noon. but it's never too late for breakfast in my book. carter opted for their famous smoked barbecue and fried okra. both meals, incredible. afterwards, we walked around the property where i took a few photos with my dslr which i'll share next week. before leaving, we stopped in the gift stores to pick up peach preserves and a few other goodies.

this place always brightens my day and is a great reminder of home. make sure you give it a try if you're ever in the nashville area!
