  1. Hi! this time last year I went on a cross-country road trip with some friends. Our favorite hikes were (a) grand canyon hike to plateau point- we left at 5 am, made it back up well before noon. intense hike, but the most incredible views. (b) Olympic National Park has so many good ones. By far the most incredible view was Cape Flattery trail, but sol duc falls was also amazing, as was hoh rainforest. These were all less than 5 miles (c) arches- I wish we had more time to explore here, the whole place was breathtaking. Wish we had gotten out to Delicate Arch

Do you have any recommendations? I've been wanting to check out Acadia in Maine but have never been!

    1. Hi Georgia! Thanks for the info. Hoh and Olympic are twp of my favorite places in the world. I hiked Sol Duc Falls a few years ago and can't wait to go back. There actually should be a few photos around here somewhere! That's the only place out west I've ever been so I'm dying to make my way out there. I've never been to Maine either but will keep that in mind. If you make your way to the south, The Great Smoky Mountains have hundreds of trails and breathtaking views :)

    2. I love the smokies. I have been as a kid but I can't wait to go back now that I can plan trips on my own.

Cape Flattery's amazing! I hope you get the chance to see it one day; it might be the most beautiful place I've ever seen.
