SUNDAY HIKE.

this weekend we decided to head back to ohiopyle for our sunday hike.
we grabbed blueberry muffins for breakfast and a few cliff bars for the trail.
the weather was perfect. the sun barely peeking through the overcast skies and
the temperature at a comfortable seventy degrees. we decided to hike the ferncliff natural
area that loops around the 100 acre peninsula and is surrounded by the youghiogheny river.
the trail offers great views of the falls and plenty of places to stop and enjoy the scenery.

  1. Oh how glorious! As soon as the heat dissipates and the coolness of fall rolls into town I will totally force Jason on a hike. I miss hiking! :-)

    1. We may end up spending a few weeks there this winter! I've never been and am actually looking forward to braving the cold weather!

  3. This looks beautiful! We have so many walks like this in Scotland but we never go to them, I really should take advantage of the scenery around here more
