ADVENTURES FROM THE ROAD.

last week's trip was quite something. we traveled over seven hundred miles in seven days. slept in five different cities in three states including virginia, west virginia, and north carolina. most of my days were spent passing time in the hotel, a local starbucks and the passenger seat of the truck while carter was busy working. we also attended a receiving of friends for a co-worker. the kindest man who lost his wife to cancer. however, there were a few pockets of time and the weekend that we were able to venture out into the city. we spent most of our week [ the last three days ] in raleigh, north carolina and had a warm, sunny day where i was able to pull my camera out without risking too much harm to my arthritic fingers. needless to say, raleigh was a favorite. maybe it was the countless hours worth of walking all over downtown or maybe the delicious food consumed. either way, here are a few photos from in and around raleigh.

  5. Dude I want your life! Just traveling around America and seeing such cool sights. Meeting such neat people. Sorry that guy lost his wife. That is so tragic.

  6. That's terrible news about your co-worker, I'm so sorry to hear that. However, it just makes this post more touching and beautiful. Your photography is amazing. I love whatever filters you are using.
