a few more images from our time spent on the east coast. it's been over two years since we left charleston and ever since we have dreamt of the possibility of returning some day to raise a family. each time we visit, we talk about what that some day might look like. we drive around the old village, picking out dream homes and visit all of the places that are special to us. this trip was no different. after spending the first half of the week on folly beach with family, we spent the rest of our trip together, making every moment count. we walked around the market and the cobblestone streets of the battery, shaded and lined with flowers. we spent an entire day eating our way through sullivan's island and ended the week by watching the sunset from our favorite beach spot. 

this next year will bring so many changes for us. our next visit here, we will be husband and wife. and one step closer to that dream we envisioned years ago. there is something truly special about this city.
